When you start writing… it’s for YOU to read, understand and criticize.. When you publish, your book, your story is then out there for the world to discover… to read, understand and yes, criticize.
It can be scary… putting your words, your stories into the hands of strangers. You’re hoping that these people you’ve never met, will read your story and relate. Maybe they will even enjoy your book enough to read it and share a small moment of togetherness with their little ones.
Now your book is out there, and it’s not going to sell itself, however I never wrote this story or started this series because I thought it would sell.
My son was really going through these “What-If” moments that I didn’t quite understand, and I thought there has to be other parents going through the same motions with their children especially after these last few years of absolute uncertainty.
As this is my first book published, it’s all new to me, and advertising is weird, uneasy and not at all my strong suit.
I’m just hoping that whomever does buy my book, realizes the amount of truth and vulnerability that went into each page, each little rhyming phrase.
To all parents who either buy or check my book out at their local library… I will be forever grateful to you for sharing my story… or should I say OUR story. As my son gets older, he is understanding more and more about his anxiety and that he is not alone in his daily struggles.
I really hope this book will inspire others to open up about childhood anxiety, and that a little kindness and empathy can turn a seemingly scary day into a day full of new experiences, new friends and new beginnings.
I am currently working on book 2 of the What-If Kid Series and it will be released in the next couple of months.🥰
Please enjoy a little reading time with your kids. 📚
What better time than Family Day Weekend!❤️
Thank you!
Happy Reading…📖❤️
